We are now carbon neutral!
Working with CarbonFootprint.com, we’ve calculated our carbon emissions and offset them using the UK tree planting scheme.
Our commitment to offsetting our carbon emissions
Using Carbon Footprint’s tree planting scheme, we pledge to plant one young tree in the UK for every tonne of our carbon emissions.
Also, additional tCO2e offset through a VCS Tree Buddying project to guarantee the emission reductions.
Why we’re doing it
Sustainability is super important to us, especially as a manufacturer in what’s traditionally known as a throw-away industry. So, offsetting our carbon emissions using the tree planting scheme was a way to give back to the environment and help protect our planet’s future.
Trees are an essential factor to maintain our climate and biodiversity. Trees contribute to the global environment by improving air quality, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. During the process of photosynthesis, trees take out carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and produce the oxygen we breathe.
What else are we doing?
We’re actively working on a number of initiatives that contribute towards a more sustainable future.
