Here at Three Point, we love to collaborate and support local charities, and what better way than to support LOROS for our 2024 dedicated chosen charity of the year. LOROS deliver free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers. They deliver care that is special and unique to each individual. By covering Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland – LOROS Hospice care for over 2,500 people.

Throughout the year of 2024 we supported LOROS with multiple Gift in kind (GIK) projects, with some still ongoing to this day, inclusive of the Tree of Life, Hospice wall art, Leicester’s Twilight Walk and their This + That, Leicester Highstreet store.

Check out below some more insight into what went into these fulfilling projects.

1. TREE OF LIFE & TREE OF LIFE PLAQUE

Based at their Leicester Hospice site we were fortunate to support their Three of Life. This memorial activation was something we were so proud to be a part of. We supported (and continue supporting) LOROS with laser engraving personalised names and notes into metal leaves, whereby you can place/hang them onto the branches at the entrance of the memorial area.
You are also welcomed to the memorial areas of the gardens by a sign posted welcome plaque. This was another involvement we were pleased to be a part of. The plaque comprises of an acrylic board with lasered illustration, and context – giving visitors the education and meaning behind the wonderful Tree of Life.

2. HOSPICE WALL ART

At LOROS’ Leicester Hospice, we stepped inside to support them on their corridor refresh to elevate the space – transforming it from a plain cream painted wall to a colourful and illustrative walk through, comprising of bluebells, leaves and robins. With LOROS’ chosen design, we got to work in the printing, cutting and installation process to bring their vision to life. Something so simple can be so effective, become a talking point, and to lift the mood of others.

3. TWILIGHT WALK

We collaborated with LOROS on their Twilight Walk back in June 2024. In aid to raise awareness, funds and bring a sense of community across the city of Leicester. The aim was to walk 10k around the city for a sponsored flagship walk – whilst many came dressed as their superhero! This was to influence those who may have lost a loved one, and walking in memory of them, or just joining in for a fun day/night out. Entertainment lined the streets around the roadmap and the atmosphere was unmatched.
We took great pride in supporting and providing LOROS with multiple point of sale and activations that featured across Leicester City. From Instagram promotional boards, step in promotional back-drop boards, a large memory board, character cut out fun boards, promotional signage and more. All materials used were manufactured to be waterproof, windproof, robust and suitable for external use. Team Three Point were pleased to receive a high volume of content from the day including our dedicated POS.

4. THIS + THAT, LEICESTER HIGHSTREET STORE

LOROS are now pinned on the city centre map with their new This + That store opening, located on the Highstreet. In prep for the opening, we were glad to get involved in designing, manufacturing, and installing their full-length window shop display graphics, and multiple sustainable wooden plinths that were all around the store showcasing product, props, and zone areas.

With the window display graphics, these were double sided with one side presenting current and relevant promotional graphics to entice customers into store, whilst the reverse (internal) side were bold bright colours, bringing vibrancy to the shopfloor. The promotional graphics you see currently in the photos were temporary, however the remaining graphics are permanent.

For the wooden plinths, these involved a lot of precision to make sure that they remain robust, but yet to be easily movable. We produced 34 plinths in total, which remain to be one of the most used furniture across the store, creating prominent store features. We created and implemented a variety of different sized plinths that were located around the store for relevancy of product zones and displays.

We just wanted to say….

Thank you LOROS for collaborating with team Three Point, we thoroughly enjoyed supporting you on all activations we have been involved in, and we love how we are continuing the legacy on supporting your Tree of Life leaf engravements.
