What is a temporary display
Temporary retail displays are a type of point-of-sale (POS) display designed to last a short period of time in-store, typically up to 8 weeks. The temporary display is commonly used for brand-activated promotions or retailer-driven seasonal campaigns.
These types of short-term retail displays are typically made of materials such as cardboard, Foamex or vinyl, as these materials are cost-effective and will last the length of the campaign lifespan in-store.
Temporary retail displays can be used in almost any location of a retail store environment, they can be freestanding or on the shelf, be directional signage or hanging signs, floor graphics or security shrouds, and even pallet wraps, shelf wobblers or fins, plus many more besides.
Sustainable Temporary Retail Displays
In recent years, sustainability has become a key focus when planning temporary retail displays. In-store for a short period of time, there are now many options available to create retail displays using environmentally friendly materials.
We can also help to educate store-level staff in the best ways to recycle or repurpose temporary retail displays and when responsible disposal isn’t available from store, we can help to implement recycling collections to support our client’s eco-initiatives.
