Rollover recently took over an existing catering unit at Nottingham Motorpoint Arena, and wanted to collaborate with us on bringing their design to reality!
The challenge presented by Rollover Hot Dogs was clear – to transform a dated, high-traffic food concession at the infamous Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham into a captivating and modern Rollover Signature Destination.
Our objective was not just to redesign the space, but to fully create and restore a permanent catering outlet that ensured maximum brand visibility and operational efficiency right off the main concourse, a few yards to the left of the main entrance.
Rollover provided the initial concept, and our turn-key service took place – spanning development, manufacturing, construction, and installation. We were able to take the project from the drawing board straight to execution.

Every element, from the counter structure to the overhead framework, was purpose-built for the arena environment and the Rollover brand identity.The installation phase brought an immediate structural challenge: a large, pre-existing, non-functional shutter system was covered by an old, angled steel pelmet. This obstacle prevented the clean, square lines essential for the new design. Our solution was to custom-engineer a new, more squared-off structure built precisely around the old pelmet, successfully concealing the obstruction and preserving the intended sleek, modern aesthetic without losing valuable operational space.
With the structural integrity secured, we focused on high-impact visuals. The rear service walls were finished in a sophisticated black paint to provide a dramatic, high-contrast backdrop.
Above the counter, this dark foundation is broken by the most compelling feature: two sets of custom-designed, neon-illuminated logos that immediately draw the eye and create a memorable, bold statement for Rollover.
A new pelmet was built above the counter, perfectly framing this captivating, illuminated signage and defining the retail space.
The finished destination successfully transformed a tired corner into a dynamic, attention-grabbing asset. By taking ownership of the entire project lifecycle – from navigating unexpected structural challenges to executing flawless final installation – we ensured a seamless workflow and delivered a high-quality environment that perfectly aligned with the client’s vision for a premium, bold-statement food brand.
