Apparel Rails on Wheels & Pallet POS

Footsure and Western are leading suppliers of industrial footwear and workwear, catering to trade professionals across the UK.
The objective was to design and manufacture a dynamic, engaging, and highly visible exhibition stand for the Screwfix LIVE Show – one of the trade industry’s premier annual events. The stand needed to showcase key product lines from both Footsure and Western, maximize brand presence, and facilitate product sales and retailer engagement.
Key challenges included:
– High-traffic environment: The Screwfix LIVE show is a massive event with thousands of attendees. The stand needed to capture attention immediately.
– Product density: Workwear and footwear require significant display space.
– Mobility & versatility: Due to the nature of live events, the displays needed to be easy to transport, set up, and potentially reconfigure for future promotional or retail environments.
Our solution was to create both modular & mobile displays. With this, we delivered a comprehensive exhibition solution featuring two key product types from our range: Pallet POS Displays and Apparel Rails on Wheels.
Pallet POS Displays
We deployed multiple custom-branded Pallet POS units. These were strategically placed throughout the stand to act as primary product showcases.
– Features: These displays are built on a standard pallet footprint, making logistics (transporting and moving them via forklift or pallet jack) incredibly simple. They feature built-in shelving and dump bins, perfect for stocking large quantities of footwear boxes and workwear items.
– Branding: Each unit was fully wrapped with vibrant, high-impact graphics for the specific brands being showcased (visible in the photos are HH Workwear and Timberland PRO). This created clear product segmentation and powerful brand visibility from a distance.
– Effectiveness: The open-access, self-selection design encouraged attendees to browse products directly, reducing the need for constant staff assistance and creating a more dynamic “shop floor” feel within the exhibition space.
Apparel Rails on Wheels
To complement the footwear, we provided heavy-duty clothing rails fitted with robust, lockable casters.
– Features: These rails are engineered to hold significant weight (essential for work jackets and trousers) without buckling. Their mobile nature allowed Footsure and Western staff to easily reposition them to create different traffic flow patterns or spotlight specific garments. When not in use, they can be wheeled off the stand or consolidated.
– Branding: We integrated branded headers onto the rails to reinforce the brand message and ensure the apparel section was clearly marked.
– Effectiveness: These units provided the necessary volume for displaying workwear ranges in a professional, organized manner. They bridged the gap between a simple display and a functional retail rack.

The combined use of these Pallet POS units and mobile Apparel Rails created an environment that was both a visually striking brand showcase and a functional retail selling space.
The versatility of the displays was a major advantage. They were perfectly suited for the promotional environment of the trade show but are equally deployable in a traditional retail store setting. This maximizes the client’s ROI on the display assets.
