This week, we had the privilege of attending a special LOROS lunch at Leicester racecourse where we received some exciting news! The LOROS team announced a mammoth project!… a new sculpture trail with elephants at 40 locations across the city.
The Elephants will start appearing in Leicester from July 2025 and this event not only celebrates their 40th anniversary but will also raise funds for the fantastic work they do and encourage people of all ages to explore the city.
Sculpture trails are proven to be a great way of combining art and community to creative exciting, innovative and truly memorable experiences.
STOMP round Leicester will feature 40 uniquely designed elephants, each decorated by professional artists and positioned across the city on a trail of discovery. The adventure path will provide education and awareness opportunities, family friendly fun and most of all have a meaningful impact for LOROS to fund palliative care for patients.
Following the trail, these grand elephant sculptures will be auctioned off to raise funds for LOROS Hospice, supporting terminally ill individuals and their loved ones during their most challenging moments.
Alex Perry, Support Engagement Coordinator at the Charity, shared high praise for Adam Gillott and the whole Three Point team for the high level of support and service provided already in facilities projects and memorial pieces, such as the recent corridor revamp to brighten up the internal corridor
LOROS remains dedicated to delivering the highest quality care to patients and families in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. As our chosen Charity of the Year we, at Three Point, take great pride in backing this invaluable local charity.
