North South Retail – Nutella Cart

North South Retail approached us looking to create an experiential retail campaign for their brand, Bread Street Bakery in the form of a street market retail cart that would be implemented at exhibitions and at business locations across the UK.

The campaign was a collaboration with Ferrero and their Nutella brand, bringing fresh baked products and sweet chocolate together in a unique activation to tantalise customer taste buds and raise overall brand awareness.

The brief was to create something standout, fun and enticing that customers could easily shop from. The display needed to be easy to clean and be able to hold plenty of stock from breadsticks and donuts, right through to croissants and bread rolls.

We created a statement 360-degree shoppable food cart with built in product shelves and bread baskets. We also added illumination to draw attention, disguised the mobility wheels and added high-impact branding and graphics to complete the theatre dressing.

After creating an initial prototype that was tested at an exhibition in Dublin, we finessed the final rollout by adding power for a Nutella catering pump dispenser, applying castors to mobility wheels and thickening the cart’s wheels for added authenticity.

The carts produced absolutely smashed client expectations, they were also received extremely well by customers and proved a very popular snack spot.
