Nike X Footasylum – Basketball Elite Series

Nike asked us to help them create an immersive shopper experience in three London Footasylum stores for their Basketball Elite Series range.

The client supplied some initial design concepts along with a mood board which presented some desired material finishes and general look and feel.

Our teams headed out and surveyed each store to gain a better understanding of the space available for activation. We then created a design and technical plan for each store which were presented and quickly approved by the client.

During production, we tested a number of elements of the display and produced a number of prototypes to ensure the work could be installed without issues within the desired one-night installation.

We created a striking industrial-look in-store environment complete with bespoke visual merchandising display structures, hanging neon basketball net feature lighting and floor graphics providing the landscape setting of a basketball court.

This retail activation was located in the front of the store, therefore cables for all lighting and display elements had to be channelled up to the tall store ceilings, laid into tracks and connected to fuse boxes located at the rear of the store.

We also built a freestanding, yet sturdy wall behind the window display which carried an element of the merchandising display for the Basketball Elite Series in-store. We then fixed a full-length, lockable mirror to the side of the wall for staff to gain access to the window.
