Since moving to new premises in August 2015 Three Point have had a period of considerable investment.
In September Three Point refurbished their reception and boardroom.
In October a new reach style forklift truck was purchased. With a factory roof height of 7 metres it is important to be able to maximise storage and to take advantage of the full racking height. Three Point can now store in excess of 330 pallets.
In November a new screw compressor was purchased. This now powers both vacuum form machines, is extremely quiet and is also far more efficient to run than the 2 compressors it replaced.
In December money was spent extending and refurbishing the canteen area. The company now has a communal area, complete with pool table for all staff to relax over break and lunch times.
And now in January 16, Three Point has made it largest investment to date in the shape of a brand new, state of the art, laser engraving machine.
The new machine is almost 3 times larger than the old machine and more than 4 times quicker. It has the ability to cut plastics upto 20mm thick and MDF upto 15mm thick. The new machine can 3d & photo engrave certain materials and can engrave a host of materials including glass, wood, leather and even granite.
